Apple Bookmark

Materials:
Red and green heavy construction paper
Ruler
Scissors
Glue

Instructions:
Have the students measure and cut out a long rectangle (18 cm x 3 cm) out of the green paper. Then have them draw an apple shape on the red paper and cut it out. Paste the apple onto the rectangle. Students can decorate the bookmark if they like, or they can write their name in fancy letters on the rectangle part.
